Negligible Price fluctuation observed for Global Polyester market in August

There has been a negligible price fluctuation observed in polyester staple fiber as crude oil has reached at a peak during August.

About one US cent per pound rise in the low end of the price range observed as 1.4/1.5 den polyester staple fiber averaging C&F the port to the equivalent of 49.00 to 52.00 US cents per pound outside the China. China market has remained as usual with the price hovering at around 10,800 yuan per ton or about 60.41 US cents per pound.

In India and Western Europe the most outstanding increase in price observed. Based on 1.4 den SD, the average price in India has been seen similar to 65.05 to 65.63 U.S. cents per pound; this replicates 1.38 to 1.39 U.S. cents per pound gain from that of last month.

This price potency carried on and permitted cotton to increase its market share against polyester in India. Western European prices also stiffed to 73.48 to 83.91 US cents per pound for 1.7 Dtex fibers; against last month's market price of 71.67 to 82.10 US cents per pound.
