The major buyers and the whole footwear international trade will get together, next January in Sao Paulo/Brazil – the business capital of the Latin American market – to participate in Couromoda 2008 – 35th International Shoes, Sportsgoods and Leathergoods Fair.
Acknowledged as the most comprehensive and international footwear fair in Brazil and Latin America, Couromoda reaches its 35th edition with utmost commercial drive and a special talent for marketing and fashion launchings.
Over 1,100 exhibiting companies will occupy 75,000 m2 of exhibition space at Parque Anhembi Exhibition Center, the main events venue in São Paulo. These companies will introduce to the Brazilian and international buyers collections fully tuned in with worldwide trends, with a flexibility that explains why Brazil is already exporting to over 120 countries in the five continents.
The collections launched at Couromoda offer fall-winter options to satisfy the cold regions of the Southern part of the Latin American continent, as well as an anticipation of the spring-summer collections, to meet the requirements of the warm regions in Brazil and from other countries with hot and warm climate.
This “fashion flex” of the Brazilian industry has already turned into a trademark of the Couromoda fair and it attracts more and more buyers. That is demonstrated by the growth in the number recorded of buying countries at the last year fair. “Couromoda is one of the most globalized footwear events in the world, as it attracts buyers from over 60 countries,” emphasizes Francisco Dos Santos, CEO and founder of the fair.
