Sun Capital Partners Inc, a leading private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies, announced that The Life Uniform Company ("Life"), an affiliated portfolio company, has acquired Uniform City Corporations ("Uniform City"), a leading provider of proprietary brand name uniforms, shoes, and accessories to medical and hospitality professionals for over 40 years.
Uniform City distributes through a network of retail stores, national catalogues, and an e-store. Craig Linn will remain as CEO of Uniform City. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
