Hudson's Bay Company (Hbc) continues its yearly support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with the annual Think Pink campaign. The campaign runs in all Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters locations during the month of October and features exclusive Think Pink product. In addition, Bay stores in downtown Toronto and Montreal have partnered with Cashmere Bathroom Tissue and will showcase eight original dress designs by Canadian Designers for the fifth annual "White Cashmere Collection 2008: A Touch of Pink, Designing a Future without Breast Cancer".

Eight leading Canadian designers will feature dresses made of Cashmere bathroom tissue in the windows of the designated Toronto and Montreal downtown Bay stores. Starring dress designs by David Dixon, Arthur Mendonça, Joeffer Coac, Evan Biddell, winner of Project Runway Canada, Joyce Gunhouse and Judy Cornish for Comrags, Lucian Matis, Thien Le and Ula Zukowska.

Among Hbc's collection of exclusive Think Pink merchandise is a retractable umbrella available at the Bay, three-piece kitchen set (oven mitts & pot holder) available at Home Outfitters and a large Think Pink votive candle available at Zellers.

"As always, the month of October is a very exciting time for us here at Hbc. We are so proud of the Think Pink campaign's longevity and on going success. Thanks to our customers and vendor partners, Zellers, the Bay and Home Outfitters have raised over $1.7 million to date to support the Foundation and breast cancer research," said Diane Gordon, Director for Community Investment, Hbc.

"Distinctive partnerships such as the ones with Hbc and Cashmere (Kruger Products) actively engage consumers, create opportunities for the Foundation to share breast health information, and are fundamental to raising awareness for breast cancer," said Colleen Fleming, CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Central Office. "This innovative approach to raising funds for the Foundation and breast cancer research is truly a platform for other companies to aspire to."

Established in 1986, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is the leading national volunteer-based organization in Canada dedicated to creating a future without breast cancer. Addressing the needs of Canadians from coast to coast, the Foundation has regional offices in British Columbia/Yukon Territory, Prairies/NWT, Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

The Hbc Foundation invests more than $10 million annually in communities across the nation to improve the lives of Canadians and the future of the country. Managed by Hudson's Bay Company's Community Investment team, the Hbc Foundation supports committed partners that are delivering programs in the following areas: building healthy families, creating strong communities and inspiring young Canadians.
