Warnaco declares multiple donations for Hurricane relief efforts

New York based leading apparel company Warnaco Group Inc announced multiple contributions to support the Hurricane relief efforts.
The Company is pleased to announce it has contributed much needed men's and women's apparel, with an original retail value near $1.3 million, to Gifts In Kind International (GIKI), the world's leading charity in product philanthropy.
Warnaco also donated approximately $150,000 to the American Red Cross, the result of a matched giving program by its employees. The Company's Swimwear Group also participated in relief efforts, and raised more than $50,000, in conjunction with the California Apparel Foundation.
"Warnaco is pleased to be able to contribute to the hurricane relief efforts," commented Joe Gromek, Warnaco's President and Chief Executive Officer. "I am exceedingly proud of the outpouring of support by all employees, a reflection of the humanitarian spirit of organization."
