UK's largest home furnishing supplier Wallace Sacks launched a direct sales channel for its Lifestyle home accessory products on the Internet at http://www.wallacesacks.com. The company is targeting 25% of its total sales via the web within three years.
Wallace Sacks, established in 1978, is a family owned and run design business manufacturing several brands that are marketed within leading High Street chains, department stores and independents. It launched Wallace Sacks Lifestyle in 2000 with the aim of creating collections of interior accessories that are exciting, stylish and fashion-led, to keep pace with peoples ever changing lifestyles.
Now, due to the rapid emergence of the Internet as a sales channel and growing customer demand, Wallace Sacks Lifestyle is launching an Internet-based direct sales channel, with a fully transactional e-commerce website.
Over 25,000 people search for home furnishings and accessories each month and UK Internet retail sales are projected to approach GBP 20bn in 2005. As well as its innovative trend-setting collections, the website also offers a core range of classic items, sales promotions, fashion and expert design advice and tips. Home accessories on sale include cushions, furniture, soft seating, rugs, lighting, bedding and mirrors.
