US home textile import at $6 bn in Jan-Apr, made-ups contribute 26.90%

Insights

US imported $6.002 billion worth of home textiles in the first 4 months of 2023, with made-ups contributing 26.90 per cent of this total.
However, made-ups imports have been declining since 2020, with a sharp 31.80 per cent drop to $1.776 billion in January-April 2023.
Bed items were the 2nd most popular product despite a 32.35 per cent decline this year.
