Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is all set to set up three textile parks at the powerloom town of Malegaon, Nardana and Navapur near Nandurbar, informed RK Gawde, new in charge of MIDC's regional office at Nasik.
He also listed out his priorities that include developing new sites and providing the necessary infrastructure and facilities to the industry.
He informed that even though the industrial growth in Nasik is stale compared to Pune, in recent times it has picked up and it is turning out to be a hot destination for industrialists.
Gawde informed that a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) was being developed with multi-product specific at Sinnar and it was in the process of acquiring 1,500 hectares land for the purpose.
