On March 28–30, 2006 the most comprehensive trade show and symposium for technical textiles and nonwovens returns to Atlanta, Georgia.
In March of 2004, the third edition of Techtextil North America was held at the Cobb Galleria Centre and attracted over 4,000 visitors and an impressive group of 288 exhibitors from a record 25 countries (up from 21 countries in 2002).

TTNA will again showcase the higher performance areas of technical textiles. Techtextil is the only trade show that assembles all vertical aspects of the technical textile industry.
Held in conjunction with the show, the Techtextil-Symposium North America was very well attended.
It opened with a keynote address on Textile Trade Issues by James C. Leonard III, Deputy Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Commerce.
Symposium attendees were eager to discover the latest research in the nonwovens and technical textiles industry as well as market developments.
Participants praised the presentations provided by 70 renowned industry experts.
One of the sessions left with standing room only dealt with “Intelligent/Smart Textiles”.
Other topics leading to active discussions included new and emerging technologies, standards and testing for the industry, product development and marketing, nonwovens, automotive applications, research in new fiber technology, as well as a range of new research and product applications.
