Czechs are buying Asian textiles to the tune of 20 percent in annual sales from Asian stall owners, informs a market survey.
The Fashion Market 2005 poll conducted by Incoma Research reported in its preview that Asian stall owners earn CZK 10 billion in annual sales from clothing and textiles even as retail sales including footwear, touched CZK 42 billion last year.
Vietnamese immigrants mostly own these stalls selling cheap Asian and Chinese clothings.
The current trend indicates Czechoslovakian consumers with disposable income have turned more market savvy, and seek comfort in shopping.
