  • India's apparel exports in 2022 saw shirts and T-shirts taking the lead, accounting for 18.23 per cent and 15.32 per cent respectively in the total exports of $16.659 billion of the country.
  • Trousers and shorts contributed 12.19 per cent of total apparel shipments.
  • Cotton apparel was the dominant material type, making up 55.81 per cent of total exports.
