Due to price decline in raw materials of CPL and weaker demand from downstream market, July nylon filament price remained almost stable. Average price of DTY70D/24F for civilian use remained at 29,850 yuan per ton and that of FDY70D/24F was 27,900 yuan per ton.
According to the (sample enterprises) statistics by China Textile Circulation Association, market sales of nylon filament reached 9646 tons in July, down 421 tons from last month, or 4.18 percent, 100 tons less than the same time last year, or 1.03 percent.
The monthly sales were 9,517 tons, nearly 100 tons less than the same period last year. Inventories at the end of the month were 10,050 tons, an increase of 81 tons from last month, or 0.81 percent, less 2,042 tons from the same time last year, or 16.88 percent.
The monthly production and sales rate was 98.66 percent, up 3.36 percentage points from last month, an increase of 0.06 percentage points over the same time last year. Inventory rate at the end of the month was 104.19 percent, up 5.16 percentage points from last month, down 19.91 percentage points from the same time last year.
Due to the current sluggish nylon filament market scenario, price is expected to see no significant change and would basically maintain current price level.
According to (sample enterprises) statistics, July sales of nylon filament were mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong and export channels.
