Ethylene prices go up in parts of Asia on Feb 4

Prices of ethylene went up in parts of Asia on Wednesday (February 4), mainly due to tight product availability in the region coupled with higher downstream product prices and upstream energy prices.
 
Prices in SE Asia were quoted at US$ 880/ton CFR S E Asia on Wednesday, which were higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to the prices on Tuesday.
 
Prices in NE Asia were witnessed at US$ 875/ton CFR N E Asia on February 4, higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to the prices on Tuesday.
 
Prices in Korea and Japan remained steady at US$ 830/ton FOB Korea and US$ 820/ton FOB Japan, respectively.
