US' G-III Apparel Group elects Wardell & Ongman to BoD

Wardell is the executive chairman of the board of directors at Adtalem Global Education, and Ongman recently retired as chief merchandising officer (CMO) at Macy’s Inc, the company stated in a media release.

“G-III Apparel Group is pleased to welcome Wardell and Ongman to the company’s board of directors and are looking forward to working with them. Wardell’s business acumen and significant technology focus combined with Ongman’s omnichannel retail operations experience will provide valuable perspectives to the company. As G-III Apparel Group continues to execute its strategy to unlock the value of the brands, Wardell and Ongman’s insights into omnichannel and data-driven retail will support the company’s management team’s plans,” Morris Goldfarb, G-III’s chairman and chief executive officer, said.
