Stuffstr has a very big launch coming up this Fall with a large global clothing brand, according to co-founder John Atcheson, who said 18 brands and retailers are interested in engaging with the US firm that works on reducing waste by increasing the reuse of unused stuff. Those 18 brands collectively sell over 2.7 billion items per year, he said.

“So our primary focus now is on how to process and resell high volumes of items” Atcheson, who is also the chief executive officer of the company, told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.

“We have a tremendous advantage over traditional re-commerce players in that we know everything about the items we are receiving before they arrive (product details, original purchase dates, etc.),” he added.
