Mervyns chooses NSB's .NET-based store solution

Retail software provider NSB has informed that Mervyns, a leading promotional department store, signed a licensing agreement for Connected Retailer(R) Store, Communications, and Sales Audit.

After its sale from previous ownership was complete, as a newly independent company Mervyns began a detailed search in 2005 for technology providers to implement an all new company-wide technology and systems upgrade, which includes financial, merchandising, point-of-sale applications and supply-chain solutions, all at one time.

To support the new strategy, Mervyns required agile solutions that could be implemented quickly.

Kurt Streitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Mervyns said, "We are on an accelerated timeline to replace all systems company-wide."
