The apparel application from Laudis is currently being piloted at Shenzhen, China-based Sungod Cashmere Knitwear Company, one of China's largest cashmere manufacturers.
“Our four-month retail study found that investment in RFID can bring significant and rapid payback to both manufacturers and retailers,” said Sungod President James Yang. “The range of functional and business expertise at Laudis enabled us to clarify our thinking and set out a future strategy for source tagging with all of our products.”
“We are excited about the opportunity to demonstrate to AAFA attendees how our apparel application, together with technology and expertise provided by NCR, can deliver a readily implemented solution that lowers the cost of conducting business,” said Frank Ritota, chief executive officer of Laudis.
“The supply chain and sales channels in the apparel industry are very complex. Bringing added efficiency to inventory and tracking procedures can have a tremendous positive effect on the bottom line.”
