driFIRE launches Industry-first flame resistant performance wear

Safety Systems Corporation, developers of driFIRE a revolutionary line of Flame Resistant Performance garments, announced it has launched the second generation of its product, called Gen 2.

Available immediately, the driFIRE Gen 2 product line features the new and unique Relaxed Technical Fit and a broader range of available garment styles and fabric weights, providing the foundation for a layered garment system. driFIRE Gen 2 will set new standards in the industry.

Relaxed Technical Fit is garment styling designed to maximize the moisture wicking and fast drying properties, as well as the flame resistant capabilities of the garment, while
providing an unmatched level of overall comfort.

Unlike traditional compression performance wear, driFIRE allows for optimal movement while providing an increased level of thermal protection as well as protection from flame and flash fires not available in traditional performance wear.

Gen 2 also features strategically positioned off-point flatlock seams on the shoulder, sleeve-side and underarm to prevent chafing, to minimize irritation from backpacks and other protective gear, and to maximize comfort.

The initial Gen 2 product line includes short sleeve t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, long pants, boxers, woman's sports bra and briefs, socks, and hot and cold weather balaclavas.

The Gen 2 line will be expanded to include additional garment styles and fabric weights, including expedition weights.
