Apparel company VF Corp picks Iasta's e-Sourcing technology

Indianapolis based e-Sourcing tools provider Iasta Inc announced that famous apparel firm VF Corporation signed a multi year agreement to utilize Iasta sourcing technology. After a successful pilot period which included reverse auctions and multi-location implementation/training and support, VF determined Iasta to have the most cost effective and robust solution on the market.

"They were impressed by the responsiveness of the Iasta team and the strong functionality that was clearly apparent, especially in features such as line item lotting and post bid optimization. Their supplier feedback has been outstanding which certainly has helped adoption and implementation of savings. Overall, the suite has a vast amount of functionality that they continue to receive tremendous benefit from," said John Lewis, Vice President of Procurement.

Iasta's SmartSource secure e-Sourcing platform enables users to streamline the sourcing cycle process and capture cost savings through the use of platform project and event management, e-RFx creation and template libraries, advanced reverse auctions and post bid optimization analysis and reporting.
