westfield style pasifika is a 2 hour entertainment spectacular of traditional and contemporary fashion, dance and music. it reflects a theme of mana pasifika. a future for all people of the pacific of strength, respect and pride.

held in 2005 at the prestigious auckland town hall, auckland, new zealand the 2005 show will bw staged on september 1st & 2nd, 2005.

westfield style pasifika 2005 will air on national primetime television on tv one, and the show is produced by drum productions ltd. whose producers are julie smith & stan wolfgramm.

last years tv show drew a national viewing audience of over 300,000 people (tvnz ratings) and in 2003 the television show won an afta award (nz film & television award) for best entertainment programme.

the live show was also a finalist and winner in the the nbr 2004 awards for sponsorship of the arts.

this 1-hour nationwide tv special gives all new zealanders the opportunity to experience the vibrancy and creativity of westfield style pasifika. the program includes behind the scenes footage to reveal the electrifying atmosphere and excited nervousness of the designers, models, entertainers and crew.

the diversity of performers who appear in the show range from dedicated cultural groups to fabulous transvestite performers, all of whom are joined in the common interest of celebrating pacific style, culture and community. add to this the incredible garments, which are the centrepiece to the show, and you have a truly spectacular television experience.
