Accompanied by a top line-up of side events, 600 brands showcased their collections for spring/summer 2020, according to a press release by Selvedge Run.
Halls 1 to 4 presented new Concept Stores providing a wealth of inspiration. Coordinated to each of the different hall concepts, they offered visitors an exciting mix of brands and products from the worlds of fashion, beauty, interior, food and lifestyle.
The brand-new theme found in Hall 6, the Berlin Fashion Market, was on the boom of pre-loved fashion and re-seller segments. This was especially well received by the vintage retailers. Extensive talks were held and cooperative measures negotiated with a view to integrating this trend – which proved very popular among consumers – into the retail market.
Right from the first day, Lecture Hall Five saw top speakers providing answers and inspiration to the key issues facing online and offline fashion retail in entertaining and fascinating talks. Here the focus of attention was on the topics digitalisation, future trends, sustainability and emotionalisation. The positive feedback from noteworthy exhibitors reflected the particularly good overall mood at Panorama Berlin.
“Our second brand Tamaris has also been very well received and we’ve had some very promising meetings with both new and returning customers for both brands, even though we had expected there to be slightly more visitors yesterday,” said Suri Frey managing director Sven Meier.
“Prior to the event, we arranged fixed appointments with customers and specifically addressed the topics we are interested in. That has worked out very well. The customers enjoyed coming, we’ve had lots of talks and are over the moon with the results,” said Nowadays Managing Director, Christian Schütt. (PC)
