Asian propylene prices improve past week

In Korea, average prices climbed by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1055/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 1.44 per cent over the previous week.

In Japan, average prices hiked by US$ 15/ton and settled at US$ 1045/ton in the last week, a rise of 1.46 per cent as compared to the previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices jumped up by US$ 10/ton and secured at US$ 965/ton in the last week, an increment of 1.05 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In China, average prices marched higher by US$ 10/ton and finalised at US$ 1090/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, an enhancement of 0.93 per cent.
