Asian PTA prices edge lower last week

PTA prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to weaker regional demand trend.
In FE Asia, average prices went down by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 645/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.53 per cent as compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 665/ton in the last week, a fall of 1.48 per cent over the previous week.
In China, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 645/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.77 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In India, average prices inched lower by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 670/ton in the last week, a decline of 1.47 per cent as compared to previous week.
