Benzene prices drop in US last week

Benzene prices inched lower in the US in the last week due to bearish regional buying trends.
In the US, average prices down 5 cents/gallon and secured at 205 cents/gallon in the prior week, a reduction of 2.38 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the former week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices declined by US$ 20/ton and settled at US$ 650/ton in the last week, a fall of 3.17 per cent as compared to the past week due to softer cues from the Asian region.
