Benzene prices soar in US last week

Benzene prices surged in US in the last week on the back of higher upstream energy values in the region.
In the US, average prices improved 20 cents/gallon and assessed at 230 cents/gallon, growth of 9.52 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Europe, average prices advanced US$ 35/ton to US$ 695/ton, showing a rise of 5.30 per cent over the previous week due to strong product demand in the region
