Benzene prices surge in Europe past week

Benzene prices moved up in Europe in the last week due to strong hints from Asia and US.
In Europe, average prices climbed by US$ 25/ton and finalised at US$ 715/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, a hike of 3.62 per cent.
In the US, average prices inched higher by 20 cents/gallon and assessed at 230 cents/gallon in the last week, a surge of 9.52 per cent over the previous week owing to favourable market essentials in the region.
