The only trade fair specialising in cashmere and fine fibres, Cashmere World, is to be held during March 14-16, 2018 in Hong Kong with a showcase of the latest colours and trends in fine fibres fashion alongside, APLF-Leather & Materials+, the number one leather, materials and components trade show and Fashion Access, Asia’s leading fashion accessories show.

All three events will offer excellent business opportunities to the thousands of leather, materials and fashion buyers passing through the fair.

Cashmere World will allow manufacturers of cashmere and fine fibres garments and accessories the ideal opportunity to display their Fall/Winter Collections and, at the same time, allow professional buyers to request samples and place orders for their retail outlets on time for delivery for the fall/winter season later in the year.

What is important for both exhibitors and visitors of Cashmere World to understand is that leather garments, bags and accessories are perfect complements to cashmere / fine fibres fashion. In addition, both fall into the luxury category of fashion accessories and for this reason there is a natural synergy between Cashmere World and Fashion Access.

Leather and cashmere experience the same evolution in their processes in view of brands and customers' demands for sustainability and traceability. Hence, there is mutual synergy not only between Cashmere World and Fashion Access, but also between Cashmere World and APLF Leather & Materials+.

The three major trade fairs taking place at the same time, under one roof, will strengthen and place cashmere in a total fashion context that is of great benefit for exhibitors and manufacturers of fine cashmere garments.

“The new dates for Cashmere World correspond to the purchasing period for Fall/Winter 18. Buyers will be able to request and receive samples; confirm their orders on time for production and delivery to shops before the end of the year,” Perrine Ardouin, director of Cashmere World, said.

Exhibitors at Cashmere World can therefore expect to meet with many quality buyers who are able to consider placing orders in view of the opportune dates and also to meet with buyers such as brands interested in contracting OEM manufacturers. There will also be brands and retailers looking to buy branded collections that they would be unlikely to encounter in any general textile or apparel trade show.

Cashmere World will bring the industry three days of business opportunities, educational seminars dealing with topical subjects, trend inspirations and much more. Cashmere World 2018 promises to be fresh, new and a must-attend event for fashion buyers and professionals. (SV)
