DOMOTEX 2017 visitor numbers at par with 2015 edition

Visitor numbers at the recently organised DOMOTEX 2017 in Germany was at par with the previous DOMOTEX edition held in 2015. Around 70 per cent of visitors were from other countries, a majority of whom or 43 per cent came from EU countries. The show also witnessed a considerable rise in visitors from Middle East and East and Central Asia.
DOMOTEX 2017 saw 1,409 exhibitors from more than 60 countries showcasing their latest innovations to a global audience in Hannover.
"Innovations@DOMOTEX and the new Young Designer Trendtable, in particular, delivered a great deal of valuable inspiration and highlighted DOMOTEX as a place that puts innovations on centre stage," Dr Andreas Gruchow, Deutsche Messe managing board member in charge of DOMOTEX.
"DOMOTEX is serving us as the best place in the world at which to unveil our latest innovations,” Jan Vergote, CEO of the Belgium based IVC Group said. “At this show, we unveiled our revolutionary hyperrealistic vinyl flooring to an international audience.” (AR)
