“We are pleased to announce our event programme for the first half of 2017. With an excellent programme of technical course and conference content, we believe we are well-placed to continue our leading role in the on-going development of the inkjet digital printing community, which has been such an engine for growth over the last few years,” said Dr Tim Phillips, managing director, IMI Europe.
The IMI Europe Inkjet Winter Workshop will take place from January 23 – 27 in Barcelona, Spain. It will comprise a series of three technical courses, each of 1.5 days duration, aimed at inkjet developers and presented by technical leaders in the field. The courses include Inkjet Drop Behaviour by Drs Emma Talbot, Steve Hoath and Cristina Rodriguez-Rivero of the University of Cambridge, and High Speed Inkjet System Design by Rob Rogers of Print3 Technologies.
IMI Europe has added a new one-day Inkjet Engineering Conference to its Inkjet Ink Development Conference, which will be held from March 14 – 16 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The two events are aimed at the inkjet development community, and will contain a fully curated programme of invited talks by leading experts from industry and academia.
The Inkjet Summer School by IMI Europe to be held in Ghent Belgium from June 12 – 16, features six technical courses, each of 1.5 days duration. It will allow developers to get an in-depth look at a particular area of technology with leading technical experts in each field. The line-up for 2017 will include the world-famous Inkjet Academy and other courses covering important aspects of inkjet technology.
The dates and location for the flagship Digital Print Europe event, as well as further events, will soon be announced by IMI Europe. (KD)
