Net profit for the three months to September 30, 2016 at Nandan Denim Limited, which is poised to be Asia's largest denim fabric manufacturer rose 4.42 per cent to Rs 16.30 crore, compared to Rs 15.61 crore in the prior fiscal's second quarter. Net sales in the second quarter of fiscal 2017 grew slower at 2.75 per cent year on year to reach Rs 302.63 crore.

For the six months ended September 2016, the denim manufacturer posted net profit of Rs 32.27 crore, up 3.73 per cent over a fiscal ago quarter, while net sales stood at Rs 603.12 crore, higher by 4.88 per cent year over year.
