Towel maker Afroze Textile Industries is boosting its strength by investing $30 million in a new 600,000 square-foot unit for weaving, dyeing and finishing.
With 72 Airjet looms and 12 jacquard looms, unit's capacity will enhance from present 5 million pounds of terry towels to 7 million pounds per month.
This expansion also incorporates solid dyed and printed fiber-reactive beach towels.
Long-staple cotton blended with bamboo, soybean and organic cotton will be included in addition to the fiber range.
