Finance Minister to inaugurate Garmentech Bangladesh

GARMENTECH Bangladesh 2012, now in its 11th edition is the most comprehensive technology tradeshow for the RMG industry in Bangladesh. Improvement of Productivity in existing factories, Modernization of production capacities, New Technology for value addition and adaption of best and smart manufacturing practices are the watchwords being adopted by the industry to convert the existing potential into reality and GARMENTECH Bangladesh is the right platform for making the beginning when it comes to technology.

Hon'ble Finance Minister, Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will be inaugurating the show. The highlight of the current edition will be extension of GARMENTECH Bangladesh from apparel machinery to include Yarns, Fabrics, Garment Accessory, Packaging, Carton and Allied Machinery all under one roof spread of 750 booths.

Like that past 10 years 11th edition of GARMENTECH Bangladesh will serve as a platform for sourcing of machinery and technology updation for RMG industry in the country. Global leaders in technology for Knitting, Sewing, Embroidery, CAD/CAM, Finishing & Laundry, Printing and related machinery will launch and showcase their new technology / machinery at the show.

At GARMENTECH Bangladesh one gets the opportunity to witness global technology being brought to the door steps of the RMG industry in the country, helping the industry to modernize and catch up with the technology to compete globally.

FACTS - Fabric, Apparel, Clothing Technology Summit, 3rd edition of the International Knowledge Seminar Series, will be held concurrent with GARMENTECH Bangladesh, 2012 on 14 January, 2012.

This summit to be addressed by eminent experts, will unveil the tech directions for the future in different garment manufacturing processes, buyer related issues like compliance, health & safety etc., to a focused audience. Attendance is open for all from the industry on registration.
