PX, PTA & MEG trends continue decline

Paraxylene (PX) price declined slowly in Asian market. In S E Asian market, PX prices were in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1570/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market was stable at level around US$ 1565/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA price fell. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1170/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1160/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was stable around RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8650/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price was stable at US$ 1405/ton. In F E Asian market, ethylene price was at US$ 1400/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene was in the range of 75.50 cents/pound to 76.55 cents/pound. In European domestic market, price range was € 1220/ton to € 1230/ton. In European market, price was around US$ 1545/ton.
MEG prices declined in S E Asian markets and were offered in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 960/ton. In Chinese domestic market selling offers were around RMB 7200/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. In F E Asian markets, counter offers were around US$ 1550/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip offered at RMB 11250/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10500/ton.
In N Asian PSF market price was stable in the range of US$ 1597/ton to US$ 1602/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers were in the range of RMB 11050/ton to RMB 11150/ton.
Price of Polyester POY was stable in Chinese domestic market. POY price was around RMB 11300/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers remained mixed at RMB 11400/ton to RMB 12700/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1535/ton, US$ 1545/ton and US$ 1720/ton, respectively.
