Homtex to run concurrently with F&A trade show

To deliver more value and business opportunities, the inaugural edition of Homtex is scheduled to run concurrently with the renowned flagship F&A Trade Show that has been held in Bangalore regularly the last eight years in a row. Both, the F&A Trade Show 2012 and Homtex 2012 will be held at the sprawling and professionally managed Gayatri Vihar, Palace Ground in Bangalore, June 1 - 3, 2012.
“The synergy effects of these two shows together will deliver even more opportunities for suppliers and buyers to boost their business domestically and internationally,” said Mr P. Krishnamurthy, CEO & Executive Director, S S Textile Media Pvt. Ltd, organizers of the show.
Held along with the F&A Trade Show, this is a traditional sourcing period for home textiles and upholstery fabrics. The event has already attracted exhibitors from the major home textiles and upholstery manufacturing zones of Salem, Karur, Panipat, Mumbai, etc. These manufacturing clusters are renowned for producing an expansive range of quality home textiles.
That Homtex 2012 is receiving positive response from across the textile industry shows that a show like Homtex is the need of the hour, coming at a time when both the export as well as domestic market is growing at a rapid pace.
Held on 9,000 sq m of exhibition space, visitors attending the fair have chance to see and source an amazing selection of home textiles in bed, bath, kitchen, upholstery, made-ups and flooring.
Visitors to Homtex will comprise decision makers from India as well as overseas who represent international buying houses, single store retailers, retail chains, manufacturers, exporters, designers and wholesalers. The exhibition will provide a wide spectrum of buyers a glimpse into the new product lines and also an opportunity to interact with some of the country's top home textile brands and suppliers.
The F&A Trade Show 2012, has always remained as India's prime sourcing ground for fabrics and accessories. “Each season, our show grows in scope from expanding our product sectors to finding new suppliers. The ninth edition of the F&A Trade Show will once again provide an excellent trading platform for both the manufacturers and the visitors.
The event as usual will feature the entire gamut of products like shirting, suiting, bottom weights, dress material, embroidered fabrics, grey fabrics, imported fabrics, knitted fabrics, outerwear fabrics, printed, processed, linen, modal, tencil, ramie fabrics, silk fabrics, specialty fabrics, velvet fabrics and woollen fabrics. The accessories section will feature items like buttons, hangers, interlinings, labels, laces, motifs, stones and studs, tapes, thread - sewing, embroidery, zippers and services.
With Indian exhibitors showcasing their latest fabrics and textile related collections, there will be international participation from countries like China, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as buyers from far away regions such as UK, USA, UAE, Turkey etc. As in the previous years, trade delegations will be visiting the show from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The much-awaited Business Networking Forum (BNF), an integral part of the two shows will focus on important issues that are confronting the textile value chain. BNF will feature top industry professionals who will share their experience and give attendees a prospective from the brand / retailer and garment manufacturer point-of-view.
