PTA & PSF prices dip, PTA & polyester POY stable

Paraxylene (PX) prices dropped down sharply in Asia. In S E Asian countries, PX prices were in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted in between US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market slightly declined and was quoted in the range of US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1530/ton.
In the Asian market, PTA prices remained stable. In F E Asian and S E Asian regions, PTA prices were in between US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1155/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market went up and was quoted at US$ 1150/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were offered in the range RMB 8575/ton to RMB 8625/ton.
Ethylene prices witnessed mix reactions in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged at US$ 1230/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices moved down sharply and were marked at US$ 1230/ton.
In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices surged up and were assessed in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. In European international and domestic market, Ethylene prices stayed unchanged at US$ 1365/ton and € 1070/ton, respectively.
MEG prices went up in the Asian countries. In S E Asian market, MEG prices were offered in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In China market, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were inert and hovered in the range RMB 7550/ton to RMB 7600/ton.
In S E Asian countries, BG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1480/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices remained stable and were offered at RMB 10850/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices stayed steady and hovered in the range of RMB 10350/ton to RMB 10400/ton.
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were in the range of US$ 1580/ton US$ 1585/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were marked at US$ 1485/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went down and hovered in the range of RMB 11050/ton to RMB 11100/ton.
Prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY were stable in Chinese domestic market and offered at RMB 11250/ton, RMB 12500/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at US$ 1530/ton, US$ 1690/ton and US$ 1520/ton, respectively.
