China's total import and export value realized US $ 1.51089 trillion in January to May this year, up 7.7 percent over the same period last year.
Of which, exports registered US $ 774.4 billion, an increase of 8.7 percent year on year; imports realized US $736.49 billion, an increase of 6.7 percent year on year.
China's import and export value fetched US $ 343.58 billion in May, an increase of 14.1 percent year on year.
China’s imports from and exports to emerging markets continued to grow rapidly, China’s bilateral trade with the US recovered evidently.
In January to May, China’s bilateral trade with Russia and Brazil continued to maintain rapid growth, achieving an increase of 24.4 percent and 10.9 percent, respectively, year on year.
China’s bilateral trade with ASEAN increased by 9.2 percent, with the US grew 12 percent, with Europe and Japan increased 1.3 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively, year on year.
