Jacobs wins contract for RSPL soda ash plant in Gujarat

Officials did not disclose the contract value, however noted that the total contract duration is 36 months.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing detailed engineering, project management, procurement and construction supervision services for RSPL Limited’s greenfield project. The capacity of the facility is estimated at 500,000 tons of light soda ash per year, approximately half of which can be converted in the production of dense soda ash.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Allyn Taylor stated, “We appreciate RSPL Limited’s confidence in us, given our excellent track record in setting up soda ash plants in India. We are committed to delivering a high level of value on this project and are pleased that we are able to continue expanding the capabilities we provide to growing business sectors throughout India."
