For the 14th Time the business newspaper sought together with the KSV1870 PwC and the successful companies in Austria. When it comes to ALC good performance over the years the whole idea is not to short-term numbers.

For the current analysis were the years 2009 - 2011 rated. The topic of sustainability plays a major role in this competition. In Upper Austria, Lenzing AG could convince the jury again and win for the second time in a row the category big players.

The Lenzing Group shows good results for many years and it is managed very successfully. The demand for cellulose fibers from the renewable resource wood is more fully intact. Global megatrends of population growth (especially in emerging markets) and the rising awareness of green products are drivers for the continuously increasing fiber sales of the Lenzing Group. The company responded to this development by all worldwide locations an ambitious expansion program of EUR 1.6 billion by 2011 - implement the 2015th.

At the headquarters of the Lenzing Group in Upper Austria alone in the coming years, invested more than EUR 350 million. Visible external signs is one of the largest industrial sites in Lenzing Austria where to EUR 130 million is a highly modern facility for the production of high-tech fiber TENCEL  and built 110 new staff will be employed in 2014.
