Bangalore Fashion Week goes 'Pink'

An eclectic mix of Indian and International designers will be showcasing at the 9th edition of Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week. Some of the notable names showcasing at the 9th edition include Arjun Khanna, Abhishek Dutta, Monapali, Pria Kataaria Puri and Australian designer Diana Marjana Kovacevic.

The highlight of this edition is that the Fashion Week would be joining hands with HCG Foundation and Pink Hope, a support group by HCG, to create awareness regarding breast cancer. HCG Foundation, along with Pink Hope will be organizing seminars and workshops during the fashion week, with eminent speakers from the field of medicine and others.

Designer Abhishek Dutta will present an exclusive Pink & White line, exclusively created in support of the cause. The Grand Finale by Arjun Khanna would be showcasing an Exclusive 'All Men Show' reiterating the concept of 'Men are back’ to support our Women. 

With a focus on generating business for the participating designers and exhibitors, Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week has created a Platform - ‘BFW Xbit’ – an exclusive 4-Day exhibit and sale by the participating Fashion Designers and Lifestyle Brands.

“Having completed 8 editions of BPBFW and an international edition in Bangkok, we intend to bring in more innovation to the fashion week in our 9th Edition. Our previous success with innovations like BFWTunes, BFWLabels and the success of our International Edition has proved that Indian Fashion has fans across the globe and is ready for the next step.

“We are also associating with the cause of breast cancer awareness this edition, since we believe that the BPBFW has grown big enough to make an impact and help a cause. We would like to create awareness about Breast Cancer among the fashion fraternity through this platform,” Mr. Feroz Khan, Event Director - Dream Merchants said.
