Self taught Spanish fashion designer and furrier Marcos Luengo opened the final day of MFSHOW Women in Madrid with his latest Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection.

Meant for sophisticated elegant women, the timeless range featured several neutral toned napa wool and silk made contemporary daywear pieces. The line’s eveningwear ensembles included leather, satin and velvet dresses in red, purple and black colours.

Designers Yono Taola and Aurelia Gil shared the same runway with their individual collections. Taola’s heavy on sequins line titled Orthopaedics was made from orthopaedic products such as Neoprene and imitation leather.

Aurelia’s range Naturaleza muerta (which means ‘still life’) showcased a very structured collection made using strong rigid fabrics like neoprene. Replete with skinny trousers and shirts, the pieces were adorned with orchid flower prints.

Designer label Poe created its collection Textura keeping the picture of a working woman in mind. Based on neutral tones, the line included knitwear and voluminous tissue made ensembles.

Fashion talent Jorge Vazquez used a lot of glitter, tartan and mohair for his crystal encrusted transparent pieces such as socks, sweaters, coats and long dresses with bare backs.
