Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodities Exchange (TOBB) Chairman, Rifat Hisarciklioglu, insisted that the businessmen did not expect early elections and requested the officials to avoid making any statements that are provocative.
He was addressing a conference in Bursa and explained that such statements will only weaken the economic equilibrium and stability of the country.
Rifat also said that the business industry wanted the government to guarantee that the production costs are at least in line with the standards of other Organization for Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries.
Chairman finally said,” In order to compete with certain countries, we should produce at the same cost.”
