Ethylene trends slightly up in US, down in Europe on Sep 2

Yesterday in the US market, ethylene prices increased marginally from higher upstream prices coupled with tight supply.
US ethylene prices were quoted in the range of 70.50 cents/pound to 71.00 cents/pound, yesterday (Sept 2).
However in the European market, ethylene trends declined yesterday, due to bearish outlook and fall in upstream prices in the region.
European domestic market ethylene selling offers were assessed at € 975/ton, while selling offers in European international market stayed flat at US$ 1250/ton.
