European benzene prices show upward trend this week

Benzene prices showed upward trend this week in Europe from higher upstream energy prices coupled with higher feedstock prices and downstream prices in the region.
On Monday (April 13) prices were assessed at US$ 805/ton which increased by US$ 30/ton on Tuesday to US$ 835/ton, which further grew on Wednesday by US$ 20/ton to US$ 855/ton.
Prices showed an upsurge by US$ 70/ton on Thursday and were assessed at US$ 925/ton. However, prices went down around Wednesday levels to US$ 860/ton on Friday.
