Benzene prices fall in Europe & US last week

Benzene prices fell in Europe & US in the last week ended May 15 from weak upstream product prices in the region.
In Europe, average prices declined by US$ 50/ton or 5.56 per cent and were quoted at US$ 850/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices too slipped by 15 cents/gallon and were assessed at 265 cents/gallon in the last week, down 5.36 per cent as against its previous week.
