Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia released the Producer Price Indices (PPI) of manufactures goods for June 2006.
Compared to the previous month, in June 2006 producer prices of manufactured goods in Slovenia were up on average by 0.3 percent. In the first six months of this year they increased by 1.6 percent.
In June producer prices again higher. Compared to May 2006, in June producer prices of manufactured goods were up by 0.3 percent. In the first six months of this year they increased by 1.6 percent.
Among main industrial groups of activities by end-use of products prices of capital goods rose by 0.7 percent, prices of intermediate goods industries (except energy) by 0.4 percent and prices of energy by 0.3 percent.
Prices of durable and non-durable consumer goods remained the same as in the previous month.
Prices in manufacture of machinery and equipment rose by 0.5 percent.
Prices fell by 0.3 percent in manufacture of chemicals, chemical products and man-made fibres.
Annual changes in producer prices In comparison with June 2005 producer prices increased by 2.7 percent. In the annual average (January – June 2006/January –June 2005) prices were up by 2 percent.
