To develop infrastructure and resume production facilities of two textile factories in next 36 months, Sunway City (Private) Limited, subsidiary of Industrial Development Corporation requires $780 million, informed Managing Director, Wilbert Mubaiwa.
Part of the required money will come through central bank and and $1.2 billion will be raised from company's resources, Wilbert stated.
Raised money will be used in trial production and infrastructure development such as sewerage, roadworks and water reservoirs.
Two textile factories located in Sunway City will have specialized operation; one textile factory will be engaged in dyeing and weaving while second one will be on spinning.
Through these factories more exports are expected to earn foreign exchanges.
