Online retailer The Sportsman's Guide Inc announced it has withdrawn its registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed public offering of 2,500,000 shares of its common stock. Company management cited uncertain market conditions as reasons for the withdrawal.
The Sportsman's Guide is an Internet and catalog retailer offering value- priced outdoor gear and general merchandise, with a special emphasis on outdoor clothing, outdoor equipment, golf apparel and equipment and footwear. The Company sells through both Internet web sites and catalogs.
