BOR proposes synthetic yarn project in Haryana of worth Rs 1,200cr

Chairman of The Bank of Rajasthan (BOR) PK Tayal has offered Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to establish synthetic yarn project at Panipat.
The project worth Rs 1,200 crore, targets to use PTA released from the Panipat refinery of the Indian Oil Corporation.
Reponding to the proposal, Hooda opined that the state government has acquired 5,000 acres of land to cater small firms to set up petrochemical businesses in this area and this is likely to begin by the year 2007.
Tayal informed that the BOR was also likely to propose for setting up an integrated textile mill in Haryana, which worth Rs 600 crore to set up and would utilize the cotton produced in the state.
