India's largest private company Reliance is looking for advertising agency for its retail venture Reliance Retail.
This news has warmed up the advertising world, moreover it is also learnt that non-Anil Ambani agencies will be selected and advertising agencies such as Mudra and Saatchi & Saatchi are not going to approach Reliance Retail.
Reliance Retail will cater in categories such as food, grocery, daily household products, apparel and footwear, farm products, health and well-being products, entertainment and leisure experiences, distribution of travel and financial services, lifestyle products and services and educational products and services.
About two months back, Reliance had approached well-known advertising agencies for its 25,000 crore venture which would employ around five lakh people.
Company will start city-specific ad campaign taking into consideration important aspects such as culture, purchasing power and preferences.
