Ministry of Commerce keen to partner with North Korea

The Ministry of Commerce (MoC)in Abuja called for a joint venture partnership with North Korea.
According to Ministry, this joint venture will help in developing a strong trade and economic ties between the two. Ministry already included Korea earlier under the Commerce project 44 (C-44). Korea is one of the eleven countries targeted for the export of commodities like cocoa, cotton and vegetable.
Under C-44, Government approved 11 products from agricultural, manufacturing and solid minerals sectors to be exported to 11 targeted countries.
In manufacturing sector emphasis is given to industries like textiles, leather works and the shoe industry.
Ministry also invited Korean businessmen to the country for trade and economic development of both the countries.
